Laurie, I like the gravity of your movieshow comments and the spice and joy I see through your camera lens. It made me wonder(the dad Road Movie comment), what imprint your father (maybe grandfather) had on you, maybe on your children in terms of your Walk With God. In Generational Fathering, I get lots of comments from the guys, but half of godly fathering covers the girls, too. Just last night I asked our 6 year-old grandwonderdaughter princess who would protect her if the Devil came after her: "Daddy, and Popi, and God". Makes me want to write something.

Hi Laurie. You sound a lot like me in your passion for God. I too am a single mom. My daughter is a sophomore at the University of Northern Colorado. I've been divorced since she was three. I have read several of John's books but not Captivating. I can see that I need to do that soon.
